Supporting Armenia’s LGBT Community
YEREVAN—Ginosi Apartels is proud to be donating five computers from our global headquarters in Yerevan to Public Information, Need of Knowledge (PINK Armenia), a community-based LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) non-governmental organization.
Since 2007, PINK Armenia has served Armenia’s vulnerable LGBT population, offering life-saving services and advocating for human rights protection in the country. According to a recent Pew Research Center study, 97% of Armenia’s population believes that homosexuality should not be accepted by society*.
As part of the brand’s new corporate social responsibility program, Ginosi Apartels is very proud to support PINK and its mission with this in-kind donation.
We value diversity at Ginosi, and our commitment to equal employment opportunity is reflected in our hiring practices and workplace anti-discrimination policy. We view characteristics protected by local laws as a mere minimum standard and proudly go beyond these legal requirements with our internal standards and HR policies. Now, we are very excited to be shifting our attention to our impact on the social well-being of the communities we operate in.
