Old Town

Riga's picturesque and historic Old Town district is a UNESCO-Protected World Heritage site teeming with cultural sites and charming facades that color its centuries-old architectural landscape.

Famous sites like the House of the Blackheads and St. Peter's Church (both pictured) can be found in in Riga's prime tourism district, located just 1 km (0.6 mi) from the Ginosi Rigami Apartel.

      How to Get There

Upon emerging from the Ginosi Rigami Apartel and through the archway onto Blaumaņa Street, turn right and walk to the second intersection, with Brīvības Street.
At the intersection, turn left and continue down Brīvības Street until you get to Elizabetes Street, at the second intersection.
Brīvības Street widens to become Brīvības Boulevard. Continue walking along Brīvības Boulevard, past the Freedom Monument, until you get to the Laima Clock, a popular meeting spot, at the intersection with Aspazijas Boulevard.

This is where Riga's Old Town begins.
