The Bridge of Peace

The Bridge of Peace is a bow-shaped bridge in Tbilisi, Georgia. It is located over the Kura River and is designed for pedestrian use. The design of this bridge replicates a shape of a marine animal.

The Bridge of Peace was built by the order of the City Hall of Tbilisi with the intention to create modern design and to conect Old Tbilisi with the new district. The Bridge was officially opened on May 06, 2010. It is 150 meters in length.

The Bridge of Peace provides a beautiful view of Narikala Fortress, Metekhi Church from one side and the Presidental Office and Baratashvili Bridge from the other.
