The memorial is composed of four parts: the slab, the wall, the pantheon, the stele. On the platform of Tsitsernakaberd, as a shrine of the victims of the genocide, lays the rectangular slab. On the edge of the slab 100m long low wall is build on which it was planned to carve allegoric engravings. The pantheon and the stele are located on the end part of the slab. Pantheon consists of 12 basalt struts, between them the ladders descend to the circular floor on the centre of which is the eternal fire, and there are heard the melodies of mourning. The struts of pantheon bear the sky on themselves, creating an upheaving dynamic panorama. Right to the pantheon is the stele, a pyramidal column (height – 40m) – as a symbol of Armenia's rebirth. It is lined with the granite of Pambak, the struts – with basalt.
