A visit to Lovers' Park gives you a glimpse of Yerevan's culture and community.
Lovers' Park - Major Yerevan Destination
On October 18th 2010 Lover’s Park officially reopened for visitors. Since then it has become a major destination for everyone in Yerevan. The park was revitalized with the help of several non-profit organizations, who manage the park. The park is a spacious: it has a total area of 1.6 hectares.
Paths throughout the park encourage visitors to take their time and explore. The park holds a small lake with various inlets and formations to enhance the viewing experience. There is an open air amphitheater for plays and other events, as well as a small cafe to get a bite to eat and a few refreshments.
Lovers' Park is located off of Baghramyan Avenue. Baghramyan Avenue is nicely paved and tree lined. The Marshal Baghramyan metro station stop is located in one corner of the park, so it’s incredibly convenient to take a break and wander around. The park is a 15 minute walking distance from the Opera House.
The park is void of any stairs so it is fully handicap accessible. It’s open year round and entrance is free.
