Dolphinarium
The fascinating Dolphinarium is located in Komitas Park across from the Pantheon in Shengavit district. Constructed in 2010 and opened in 2011, the Dolphinarium makes for a great family outing.
The show
Visitors are treated to a well-practiced show involving dolphins and several other creatures. It is a 40 minute show. The dolphins jump through hoops, perform tricks and incredible acrobatic feats. There are 3 shows each day. The first one is at 1 pm, the second one is at 4pm and the third one at 19 pm.
The facilities are in top-notch condition and after the show is over you’ll have plenty of opportunity to peruse the Pantheon and see where dozens of Armenians most distinguished citizens have been laid to rest.
Prices and working days
The Dolphinarium is open every day but Monday. The price for tickets is 3500 AMD (~ $ 10) for Sunday and 2500 AMD (~ $ 7) for every other day. Take a day of it and enjoy the unique experience of visiting Yerevan Dolphinarium and a cemetery at the same time.
