Jermuk is located in Vayots Dzor Region of Armenia. Jermuk is one of the most well-known health resorts in Armenia, located about 173 km from Yerevan. Arpa River runs through the town. The air is very clean in the city and it is surrounded by high mountains and thick forests. The mineral waters of Jermuk are curing. The region is famous for its delicious sorts of fish such as koghak and trout. The panorama of Jermuk is truly beautiful and fascinating. On the way to Jermuk there are historical monuments of unique importance and worth visiting, such as Gndevank which dates back to X century, Noravank, dating back to XIII century and Tatev, whch dates back to IX-XIII centuries.
